| 1.First-ever School Level Spoken English Project in Orissa |
...... This project was inaugurated by Justice L.K. Mohapatra of Orissa High Court in the presence of the Higher Education Minister and the Minister of School and Mass Education. As Ravenshaw Collegiate School is the oldest school of Orissa and is almamater of many great persons like Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and Biju Pattnaik, Ravenshaw Helpline has been keenly implementing the project. |

Objective : Better Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in English (British)

This is really an effective Course for the development of the children’s fluency and knowledge in communicating in English.

Group : All the students of Classes IV to X (789 students in total)
Duration : 6 months (July to December) per year
No. of Classes provided to each group : 40 (60 hours)
No. of Classes provided to each group in a Week : 2*
Methodology : LSRW (Listening + Speaking + Reading + Writing)
No. of Modules used : 4
Teaching Aid : Audio Cassette, CD, OHP, White Board, Book, etc.
Material : A special book (160 pages) and necessary handouts by Ravenshaw Helpline
